Christine Didion

Christine Didion, Director, Programs

Christine Didion serves as the Director, Programs, overseeing all General Revenue and Older Americans Act Programs. In her role, Christine is responsible for providing leadership and administrative support to provider agencies throughout Pinellas and Pasco Counties, coordinating the activities of both Federal and State funded programs and services to ensure that older adults can stay in their homes and live independently. Christine also leads AAAPP’s direct service programs of the Older Americans Act Chore, Mental Health Counseling, Title IIIE National Family Caregiver Support Program, and Title IIID Evidenced-Based Disease Prevention and Health Promotion program. Christine joined the AAAPP in 2020 as the General Revenue Program Manager and previously worked at DOEA in Tallahassee. Bringing the unique experience of serving older adults at the statewide level, with direct service providers and, now with the Area Agency on Aging, Christine seeks to examine existing programs and engage in new systems for efficient and effective service provision that advocates for older adults to age-in-place with dignity and safety. Christine holds a Master of Social Work from The Florida State University.
