McKenna O'Neill, Director of Strategic Advancement, oversees all fundraising initiatives and drives the fund diversification efforts for AAAPP. McKenna joins the agency with over 10 years of experience in fundraising and development, having worked for notable organizations such as the USO, the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army and served as a Major Gift Officer for two national healthcare systems. McKenna earned her bachelor's degree from Radford University in recreation parks and tourism, with dual concentrations in therapeutic recreation and tourism & event management. In addition to her years of nonprofit service, McKenna served four years as the Director of Operations for a senior home health registry in Jacksonville, Fl. Additionally, she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in management with concentrations in nonprofit leadership and public administration, while simultaneously pursuing her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) certification. McKenna and her family relocated to the Tampa Area in the Spring of 2024 following her husband's transition from active-duty Naval service.
